Loft House

Residential Projects

Living in a loft is more than a lifestyle. It is a state of spirit. This type of construction reflects the way of life of its owners, who do not give up the stripping, but always with a lot of charm and comfort. Initially designed for apartment buildings, the loft is gaining momentum, becoming a craze among young entrepreneurs, motivated by the sense of freedom that integrated environments - without any walls - provide. The concept worked so well, that it is also being adopted in horizontal closed condominiums. They are also no longer exclusive to capitals and are invading interior cities. With all these advantages in mind, an entrepreneur from the Campinas commissioned architect Aquiles Nicolas Kílaris to design a loft inside a horizontal condominium. The building, with 127 m² and a ceiling height of 6 meters, has its environments integrated. Everything was designed to meet the owner's wishes. Garage, leisure area with spa and barbecue, living room and kitchen. Upstairs, only one bedroom, the closet and the separation for the bathroom that is reserved. "People are looking for a better quality of life. No one most want to be restricted to small spaces. This new concept, of having wider spaces, is what made the loft trend grow, "said Kílaris. The layout of this loft built in Americana, in the interior of São Paulo, was chosen according to the profile of the client, who wanted something practical, comfortable to receive friends. That is why the spa and the barbecue area and the two-car garage, a novelty in projects of this nature. The desire of the young single entrepreneur is to make the most of the loft. After you get married and have children, your idea is to change houses with your parents. They will leave the larger house where they live to make room for their son and family. On the other hand, the older couple will move to the loft, where they will have more practicality for the day to day, without giving up the basic comfort that they already had in the house, such as the leisure area and the garage for cars.
