Tamboré House

Sit on top of a mountain and in the distance, contemplate the view of a beautiful city, the valleys and the hills that surround it. This was the first idea of the architect Aquiles Nícolas Kílaris when receiving the project for this house in the Tamboré region, in Santana do Parnaíba. Both the geography of the place, as well as the topography of the terrain, allowed him to create freely in this sense. Based on this principle, he designed the house - located in a closed condominium in one of the most valued regions of the greater São Paulo - for a couple of businessmen and their son. The location is so noble that it was chosen as a home by several television celebrities. As it is a land with a steep slope, Kílaris opted to build a garage in its lower part and thereby raise the level of the property, allowing its entire social area to be integrated and practically on the same plane. On the second floor, he designed the family rooms, thus prioritizing the privacy of the intimate area. These spaces also include the surrounding landscape. Integrating the two floors, a marble-clad staircase acts as an architectural walk through the house. Being next to a large glass gap, those who walk the stairs can enjoy the beauty of the region. The interior design is signed by the interior designer Iara Kílaris, who gave her contemporary and bold touch to the environments. The kitchen is separated from the social area by a sliding door and was designed in two environments. The work area has a bench for quick meals and the lunch area has a table and chairs to accommodate the family. The gourmet space was designed in red and black, in the best contemporary style. In the home theater - with access to both the outdoor area and the living room - the great charm was due to the panel and the fireplace lined with an exotic marble known as Florest Green. The two livings of the house, the dining room, the home theater and the leisure area were planned without dividing walls. Large window spans that allow the total view of the external landscape. The feeling of being at the top of a mountain is even greater in the pool and in the glass sauna built on its edge. In these spaces, the contemplation of the hills and valleys is even more beautiful.
